Look, grooming isn’t easy.
It’s an ongoing job and with many of us being around in public, we should present ourselves in the best light possible.
And it’s not easy, we all have off days.
You can’t have the same haircut everyday, your hair grows.
You can’t have the same body shape, it changes based on how you take care of it.
You can’t have the same day either, some days are great and some days are lessons.
But you can add some consistency to your life whether it’s ups and downs in life.
So today I’m going to share some products that have changed my life for the better. It has helped me stay and also feel clean.
I might separate them later on but I’m just going to share all the products that is currently on my list at the moment.
Some are sponsored and some not, but I do use all of these products consistently and I rarely move away from these brands.
And lastly, nothing can beat a clean diet, exercise and proper sleep however these products can definitely help in staying consistent but also motivated to stay on top of your routine.
This list will constantly be updated so be sure to bookmark this page to stay updated on my latest additions!
Tiege Hanley
Tiege Hanley: 20% off your first month
I’ve been using this product since 2020 and it really started my consistency journey.
Prior to this, I didn’t have a skincare routine and really, I didn’t have any kind of routine for my face. my face would always feel dry and when I broke out, it would be a harsh breakout.
When I started using Tiege Hanley, I noticed a difference in my skin after about 6 months. It also helped me stay consistent with my personal hygiene and self care routine in the morning and evening.
On top of that, their support team is very accommodating and helpful with any issues you may have. They will quickly replace a product or give you a full refund on a product that might have an issue whether it be the shipping or the actual product.
Whether it be Tiege Hanley or another product, I recommend just finding some sort of product you can use on a consistent basis.
Like your fitness, our skin also needs to be taken care of.

Shea Butter
100% Pure Shea Butter: Africanfairtradesociety.com
So as I mentioned above, I’ve been using Tiege Hanley as my main skincare routine, but I use shea butter as my moisturizer.
After I take my shower and I do my skincare routine (Tiege Hanley wash), I put 100% unscented shea butter on my face and also…my hair!
It’s given my hair a lot of health and some volume as well when I grow it out.
I use the 100% shea butter unscented from my family’s company “African Fair Trade Society“
If you want a great combo and just want to keep it super simple, grab a face wash and the 100% pure shea butter.

One of my biggest insecurities from 2020 to 2022 was my breath.
I always felt like my breath didn’t smell good.
And maybe it wasn’t true, but it was still one of my insecurities for a long time.
I was brushing, flossing and tongue scraping but something just didn’t seem to be clicking.
And overall it affected my confidence to speak.
And then I saw a youtube video of someone recommending this product.
I bought it and I haven’t looked back since, it’s the best mouth wash I’ve ever used.
Now obviously it doesn’t replace brushing your teeth, flossing and tongue scraping.
But if you add all of those plus the mouthwash, then you’ll notice a huge difference in how your breath smells.
I typically like the mint flavour since it has a little taste, but if you just want something that you can use without any taste, the original green version works as well.
Regardless, it all works well.
If you’re self conscious about the way your breath smells, this is a good way to start.
Obviously still do the rest of the things, but do keep this one with you after you brush your teeth.
Manscaped Crop Preserver

Amazon.com: https://amzn.to/3Rzkpwo
Another one of my insecurities was how I smelled down there.
I was always conscious of if it made a difference to how I smelled overall
I used a powder but I found that it dried and actually hurt after.
So I’ve been using this crop preserver. I do have the manscaped kit as well so this is something I use on top.
I use the crop preserver daily and I do feel fresh and cleaner down there.
I typically apply it after I’ve applied all of my lotions and it will usually last a couple hours.
I also like it cause the scent isn’t really strong and it stays fresh.
Great pick up for the hotter weather as well as we sweat a little more with the sun
Electric Toothbrush

If you’re reading this, you probably know about eletric toothbrushes and the benefits it can have for you.
I actually have both an electric and regular toothbrush but the electric seems to work really well for me.
This one in particular works quite well for me. It’s quite affordable and there’s a lot of different settings you can use.

Dove Spray

What I’ve used for years now. It’s super subtle, not too much fragrance on it and I prefer it over soap.
The deodorant spray also has a subtle scent to it and I find that it compliments my skin really well.
It also leaves space to put on a nice cologne on top of it
Bonus: OGX Renewing + Argan Oil of Morocco Conditioner, 385 mL

Not a hair expert and I don’t have alot of hair but I use this to maintain my hair. I use it 2-3 times a week.
I then put shea butter on my hair after I rise off the conditioner
So this is what I use, not going to say much here.
Bonus: Compliments body lotion
The body lotion I use
I’ve tried the vaseline one but there’s something about this one I prefer. The scent is more subtle and just works better with my skin. Unfortunately I don’t think you can get this online. I get it at my local Thrifty Foods.
I previously used the vaseline version but I really prefer this. It stays on my skin nicely and I don’t smell any aftersmells after
